As far back as I can remember, I always loved horses. After many years of persuasion my parents finally gave in and bought me my first pony, a 4yr old 12.2 bay mare, which I still own today. This was not a good choice as I could hardly ride, (my parents knew nothing about horses!) This gave me the determination to learn, and learn fast to stop me falling off. (I never told my parents when I did, or they would have sold her for sure and after years of nagging there was no way I was ready to give up my beloved pony!). I went for lessons on her and nagged to help out at the yard so from the age of 9, I went there every weekend and school holiday's come rain or shine I would be there. After working for numerous years at that livery yard where horses were broken in, re- schooled, showjumped, hunted and shown to a very high standard, I picked up endless amounts of knowledge and experience. This inspired me to buy a 18month old Hanoverian X Dutch warmblood who is now 14yrs old.(see pic above).
AS you can see in the picture above and below, I also have experience at in hand showing showing up to county level and have been placed every time out with this 3yr old CHAPS Registered Sports horse.

Alongside my completion of
BHS stages 1-3,
I have gained a BTEC National Diploma in Sports Science
Sports Management Certificate,
But realising my passion is still with horses is why I have turned to Complementary Therapy for our equine friends.
I am currently studying Equine Sports Massage
And I believe this has benefited my 24yr old to the extent that she thinks she is the 4yr old she was when my parents first bought her all those years ago.
